Edit.
Go see our friends The Knives Of Neptune, and The Ready Series + more at the Hunter on Hunter, 8 January. Sorry we cannot make it to this show anymore.
Also (now you are doing what I tell you), head back to the Hunter on Saturday 10 January to support The Ready Series, playing with Give Up The Ghost (U.S.), and I Killed The Prom Queen and Taking Sides.
Love you all.
All upcoming shows are cancelled. Replacements will be on the lineups so make sure you check out The Knives Of Neptune and whoever else we have been rumoured to be playing with in the next couple of months.
I am personally taking a break from booking, playing etc. for a few months. This is not the end of Faster Than Falling. We will be around in shapes and forms in the near future.
We are recording demos today. Expect a demo release by January 2004.
Breaking News: Old School legends Captain Cleanoff from all across the country (Adelaide, Melbourne and Newcastle I think) have been added to our show on the 18th of December! So now all the grind fans out there can come along to our pop show and we can all get drunk together!
Our track 'Today' from our EP 'You'll Never Know You're Infinite' has been added to the Big Day Out site. Rumour is that the best tracks will end up on a compilation CD! You can download the track
here and then talk it up/rip it down in the Big Day Out
forum.
See you all on Thursday (18th) night at Morrow Park!
We are pleased to announce that our new guitarist is Chris Hope. We now have two members named Chris and two named Josh. Fun huh. I have about a week left to teach Hopey all the songs and I'll also be playing bass on Thursday 18 December at Morrow Park Bowlo (with Staying at Home, Bullet The Blue Sky, The Ready Series), because Vaughno can't make it. So fingers crossed...
Also this fortnight, we are playing with some awesome local bands on Saturday the 20th at Mayfield Hotel, as well as on Sunday the 21st, with awesome Melbourne trio Horsell Common, plus Running With Scissors and The Ready Series. All shows are $5, start 7pm or 8pm or 9pm, but you should be there drinking from 6pm anyway! All ages are welcome at the Mayfield shows too, provided they are with an over 18er and stay at least a metre from the bar (you guys can drink goon at home and turn up late!)
Faster than falling BLOG is up and running which is awesome, now it's going to be very easy to update you all on what's happening. Not much to update on I'm sure chris will give you all an update soon enough
Cheers
