We have lots of space over here, so, expect tons of new Marilyn media! New content is on the way. You'll notice it. We are trying to bring the best of Ms. Monroe. NEWS: Anna Nicole Smith imitates the Red Velvet series. She poses nude to prove her natural weight loss.

To prove her point that she didn't have a gastric-bypass surgery to shed weight, former Playboy Playmate Anna Nicole Smith has posed naked for a fashion magazine. Nicole, who recently shed 80 pounds, has instead attributed her weight loss to Trimspa, the diet supplement she takes. "We asked her to re-create the famous Marilyn Monroe pose for the centerfold of our Icon issue," The New York Post quoted representative of the MAO magazine, Roger Padilha, as saying. "She thought it would be a good way to quash the rumors. I was there and can 100 percent vouch that she had no scars," he added. Source: Kerala News.

We all know Anna Nicole is a Marilyn fan, so, it's not very surprising :P


 NEWS: Christina Aguilera: the new Marilyn fan

Awesome pop singer Christina Aguilera is turning into Marilyn like many other celebrities. She had changed her look again, and even though she's not a platinum blonde like Marilyn, she's getting her hair style aand some characteristics Marilyn had. While visiting her family in Pittsburgh, she was asked to pick a location where she could be interviewed for the September cover of Jane magazine. She chose The Andy Warhol Museum, and even posed in front of the slikscreen Marilyn portraits. Also in the photoshoot for the magazine, she listened 'I Wanna Be Loved By You' and she brought some pics of Marilyn to inspire her hair-and-makeup crew. Maybe the Marilyn fever between celebrities will start again. Thanks Xtina Online for the informaton.

NEWS: Singer Ashlee Simpson on Marilyn
The sensual scene from her 1955 movie, 'The Seven Year Itch' still lives on in the memory of fans and youngsters even now idolize the Sex Goddess. "I look at her as a beauty icon. Everybody's tried to be like her and imitated her style," pop star Ashlee Simpson, was quoted by the New York Daily News as saying. Ashlee whose latest album 'Autobiography' has topped the US charts idolizes Monroe and apparently has a poster of the star in her room. "She had a classic hourglass figure and was gorgeous and sexy. I miss that kind of beauty," she added.
NEWS: Brooklyn Museum - Marilyn Photo Exhibit
The Brooklyn Museum will mount a big photo exhibit - 200 pictures by 39 photographers - from Nov. 12 through March. It is often said Marilyn's still pictures are even more satisfying than her movies. The works of all the great photographers she posed for will be on display, including Bert Stern, who snapped her weeks before her death, for Vogue. Perhaps this time, rather than using the famous nudes, Stern will make more of the evocative fashion shots, in which Marilyn is elegant, sophisticated and ravishing. These show how gracefully she might have handled her maturity.
