You
just got to Inspiration's own section. Here is where I wanna let you know everything
about the site and how it has evolved through the time. I'm really proud of this
project. Actually, the first I can manage and actually almost finish. It
really makes me feel happy to dedicate a website to Marilyn Monroe. Also,
it's really fun to have a website. Go deeper, and know each fine detail of
Inspiration.
All this project began in the late 2003. I was starting to like Marilyn so I decided to make a site. I came out with this explosion of ideas. First I needed a name for the site. I started with the name Kow Tow, while reading a dictionary. I made a gray and pink layout with some photos. It didn't worked out. because, everything was so simple and I wanted more. So I started the whole site again. I came with the name of 'Inspiration' and with another layout. Our first lay was featuring the movie 'Bus Stop'. It really turned out great. I opened the site in April 2004, but the information was, i must say, really shitty. So, I closed the site for a while, and I came with a new host and a layout. I decided to remake the whole site and now, I am really glad with the results, but still, it will get better. I promise.
Version Number Two: Colorful Sky
While blending some Marilyn images, I came out with this idea, the colors are very joyous, it makes me think it is after all a colorful sky.
It was better than I thought on the beginning. Still it is very special, because ot was our first layout.
I would like to thanks many sites for letting me use their information. For the layout I was inspired by many sites at the same time. Thanks to everybody that visit the site. Hope you like it, because I do. But, thank you, Marilyn Monroe, for being such an inspiration for many generations, some even didn't meet you, some did. You were such a brave woman, who suffered and payed a high price for fame. But, someday we'll be right there with you.
